I am directed to refer to your letter No. FD.SR-V.21-47/2012/23981 dated 06.11.2020 on the subject cited above.

2. They examined the case in the Department and observed that the Hon’ble Courts in a number of writ petitions have allowed advance increments to appellants on the basis of higher qualification. The same is also upheld by the Apex Court of Pakistan. Therefore, some of the Eng Teachers are getting the benefit of advance increment on the basis of higher qualification.
3. In view of the above, the department proposes that they should extend the benefit to all those English Teachers who are at par with those who have been wanted the relief.
